The Catalyst Network of Communities: the interconnected Communities throughout the Catalyst organization that share the Common Community Values.
Community: a group of individuals, groups and organizations connected through a common interest. Communities are organized and facilitated by a Community Catalyst.
Community Catalyst: an individual who stewards the vision for an established Community and helps Team Facilitators and other emerging leaders to work collaboratively.
The Catalysts Peer Group: a support system for Community Catalysts of each established Community in a city or area.
Action Team: a group of individuals within an established Community working together towards a common project or initiative. Organized and facilitated by a Team Facilitator.
Team Facilitator: an individual who organizes an Action Team and facilitates a member-driven culture within that team.
The Facilitators Peer Group: a support system for Team Facilitators of each Action Team within an established Community.
Common Pool of Resources: a listing of material items, experience, skills, and tasks from the entire network that members indicate can be offered for free or for barter to other members.
